“Hello, my name is Ben, and I’m a Bey-coholic.”
So, Porter Robinson released a new album last month, and it’s really pretty, but also a little…abstract. There’s a lot of feelings for a dance record. Like a range of feelings. Dance records tend to sit in one giant happy group hug for however long they last. Porter tends to be a little emo, and it turns out all he needs to cheer him up is a kiss and a hug from Mrs. Carter. Well done, Hood Internet.
Eric Prydz makes really good giant group hug songs. Very rarely does he make them available for free, and this past week saw him give away two, called Accent and Revolution. Maybe it’s because he’s releasing through his sort of alter ego, Cirez D? Doesn’t that seem like a better reason than celebrating a tweet?
I want to introduce you to Tchami. He’s from Paris and he put together an incredible mix, with a really interesting variety of producers. The first nine songs in particular. The T-E-E-D x Anna Lunoe song in particular in particular.

What’s on your mind?
